LADIES MEETING

A variety of meetings are held throughout the year for both young and old. It gives us a chance to catch up with one another and to join in fellowship around Gods word. The Ladies Meeting is held on the last Tuesday night of each month. Our speakers include missionaries and testimonies and we sometimes have a craft night.

Our Ladies Bible Study meets every other Tuesday morning. We use ‘Geared for Growth’ Bible study materials and finish our time together in prayer.

‘Walk for Life’ takes place usually over four Tuesday evenings around Easter. It involves walks for different abilities and a ‘talk’ back at the hall.

Please note all our meetings involve a cup of tea or a delicious supper! Please join us.

MIDDLE GROUND

Churches tend to cater well for children and young people with lots of activities and opportunities to get together. But what happens when you move beyond your early twenties? Careers, commitments, relationships, marriages, families and even church itself can can become all consuming. So how do we get to know others and encourage and be encouraged by people at the same stage of life? That’s what Middle Ground is for. Once a month on a Saturday night those in their 20s – 40s get together for a conversational bible study, coffee, dessert and a chance to just chat with each other. Every third month we set the study aside and do something different just for fun. Everyone is welcome and it’s a great way to get to know others in the church at the same stage of life.

FRIENDSHIP HOUR

The Friendship Hour meets on the third Thursday of each month at 2.15pm from September until April with an annual outing on the 3rd Saturday in May. We aim to serve the ‘older youth’ of our congregation and the surrounding area with the opportunity to have a time of fellowship around Gods Word and to relax around a cup of tea afterwards.

The meetings take on a variety of formats with speaker’s, singer’s, testimonies and missionaries.

A warm welcome awaits everyone and should you have transport issues please contact Kenneth or Elizabeth Rankin or any of the committee members; Ken Humphries, Elisabeth Bingham or Rae Moorhead.

We invite you to join us at our services each Sunday and Wednesday night, as we meet to worship the Lord Jesus Christ, to learn from the bible and to enjoy times of prayer and fellowship.
